Ashton Kutcher, a Hollywood star, has honored Lionel Messi for his contributions to football.
According to him, the 35-year-old has made football more beautiful during his career.
Messi scored seven goals to help Argentina win the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, and he was crowned Tournament MVP and Golden Ball winner.
At a press presentation for his latest film, “Your Place or Mine,” the actor praised Argentina’s superstar, adding that he must work so hard every day to achieve what he has in football.
“I’d simply like to say thank you. “Throughout his career, he made the world’s most beautiful sport even more beautiful,” Kutcher added.
“Think about how much effort he put into becoming the player who has the backing of the entire globe.”
According to him, it is one thing to be a well-known player in one’s nation or among the fans of one’s club, but it is quite another to be someone like Messi, whose work has inspired non-football fans to support him.
