The Reason I Stopped Making Asake – TG Omori Music Videos

Posted by

ThankGod Omori Smith, often known as TG Omori or Boy Director, is a well-known music director and cinematographer in Nigeria. He recently explained why he no longer worked with the musician Asake.

To refresh your memory, Omori and Asake first worked together on the hit song “Organize” in 2022.

However, questions were raised when Asake hired a new director for his most recent video projects.

Asake reportedly had a falling out with TG after their most recent effort, “YOGA,” failed to attract as much attention as his previous efforts.

To hold Olamide, the singer and CEO of the YBNL record label, responsible for TG’s business arrangement with Asake, TG said in an interview on the Zero condition podcast that Olamide believes in giving people opportunities.

“Even when a husband and wife split up, people still take time off. We’ve done enough videos, maybe a dozen total. We have not lost our chill. You understand that this is a business, and that the final decision belongs to the client.

I appreciate it when creative people are allowed to experiment. Just because we’re males doesn’t mean I want you to shoot with me. I can’t fathom what may have caused that.

Crazy love, to me, means that I will be with YBNL indefinitely. We’ve been friends for a long time, and Olamide is the sort to make sure everyone has food. And he was already working with other directors when I arrived, so he let me do my thing alongside them.

Now he’s collaborating with a guy with a lot of imagination. A excellent person who is succeeding in life. This is typical Olamide. And it would be a mistake on my part if I took it personally.
