This season, their team is improved. Alan Smith names the winning team

Alan Smith, a sports analyst for Sky Sports, claimed that Arsenal had a stronger team this year.

After beating Brighton 4-2 on Saturday, the Gunners presently lead the Premier League standings by seven points.

Last season, Mikel Arteta’s team had an excellent chance to place in the top four, but they faltered in the final few games, finishing fifth.

The Spurs game and the away game against Newcastle where they didn’t show up, ran out of gas, and pushed their team to the breaking point were when the wheels came off last season.

“Their team is stronger this season in terms of depth, and they’re more experienced. With their typical starting XI, they remain the Premier League’s youngest team, but they do have that background.

“You’d think they’ve taken note of last season’s mistakes. They are hopefully a year older and wiser now,” Smith remarked.

While Manchester City plays Chelsea, Arsenal will host Newcastle at the Emirates.
