David de Gea, the goalkeeper for Manchester United, has discussed what Erik ten Hag has done to the team since joining.

Ten Hag has imposed discipline in his club, as other United players have attested, and as a result, players like Cristiano Ronaldo have left Old Trafford.

The 37-year-old international from Portugal had his contract terminated after he complained to the public about internal problems following a series of altercations with manager Ten Hag.

Erik ten Hag’s appointment at Old Trafford raised questions about De Gea’s future there, but the goalkeeper claims the Dutchman has given everyone on the club a sense of purpose and that they now play as a cohesive one.

Ten Hag is doing well, I see. We feel like a real team because of the way he aligns every player,” he told MUTV.

“It’s important to note that everyone wants to play for this club and win. We are playing incredibly well right now, and this is how we need to play to maintain our momentum and the tremendous spirit he brought to the club.

He said that Ten Hag was upset before they gave up a lot of opportunities following Man United’s 3-0 victory over Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

He was a little upset because we gave up too many chances and were too vulnerable at the end of the game.
