Osifo, an APGA gubernatorial candidate in Edo 2024, has promised to mimic the success of Soludo and Peter Obi

All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate Dr. Isaiah Osifo promised that he, should he be elected governor of Anambra State on September 21, would continue the successful leadership of his predecessors, Peter Obi and Charles Soludo.

This is according to a press statement that Osifo sent to reporters in Benin-City, Edo State.

The APGA candidate said it was a performance-based celebration.

In addition to pleading with voters not to support the godfathers’ candidates, he said that ineffective political leadership is the root of Nigeria’s problems and that he longed desperately for change in Edo and the country as a whole.

He has pledged to convene a group of academics to refine crude oil within his first 100 days as governor of Edo State if elected.

“Our political ideology is similar, and I will work to surpass the records of the APGA governors in Anambra State,” he declared, adding that he shares same idea with Obi and Soludo.

The issue in Nigeria and Edo State is obviously the political leadership. I am in dire need of strong political leadership for my state and nation.

I will keep fighting for excellent political leadership in my state and country if God grants me health, energy, and the means to do so. Since I had the good fortune to attend schools in both Nigeria and the UK, I am well aware that incompetent leadership is the primary cause of the gap between the developed world and Nigeria/Edo State in terms of economic progress.

There is no statistically significant difference in IQ between the British and the Edo period. You are wasting your time trying to persuade me that the Edo people are incapable of refining gasoline.

Dons at UNIBEN, AAU, and Auchi Polytechnic will refine gasoline in my first 100 days as governor of Edo State, should I be elected. A liter of gas costs about 900 Naira, which is too much for us to continue.
