Henry Edet, one of the Biafran Nations League’s commanders, has been apprehended by the Rapid d’intervention Battalion (BIR).
He was caught early Wednesday morning in Atabong East, a ceded Bakassi Peninsula side of Cameroon’s South West Region.
BnL’s operational commander is Edet.
Cameroonian forces apprehended Henry Edet in connection with the Black Marine, a militant group that is said to have slain scores of Cameroonian troops.
Meanwhile, there has been no formal response from BnL’s leadership to the news.
