After Arsenal’s proposal for Mudryk was rejected, Boehly will speak with the head of Shakhtar Donetsk

Todd Boehly, a co-owner of Chelsea, is scheduled to meet with Darijo Srna, the head of transfers at Shakhtar Donetsk, on Thursday night to discuss the possibilities of acquiring Mykhaylo Mudryk, a target of the Arsenal.

This comes after Shakhtar Donetsk rejected Arsenal’s second offer for Mudryk on Wednesday.

After Muryk made it apparent that he wanted to leave Shakhtar Donetsk, the Premier League leaders were considered to be confident that their offer, which was reportedly worth £62 million, would be accepted.

The Daily Mail reports that Shakhtar Donetsk, the club of the Ukrainian winger who turns 22 tomorrow, has chosen to reject Arsenal’s most recent offer for the player.

Chelsea may therefore have the upper hand in discussions since Boehly is scheduled to meet with Srna tomorrow.
