Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly has spoken out over the departure of midfielder Mason Mount.

On Wednesday, Mount finalized his transfer from Chelsea to Manchester United.
The transfer fee for the England international to join Man United was £55 million, with an additional £5 million for add-ons.
Boehly and co-controlling owners Behdad Eghbali and Jose E. Feliciano responded by thanking Mount for his time at Chelsea and praising the 24-year-old as a model employee.

When asked about Mason, Boehly remarked, “Mason is a consummate professional and a popular figure at the club.” The comment was posted on Chelsea’s official website. We appreciate everything he did for Chelsea, both on and off the field.
