Ilebaye Odiniya, alias Baye, who won Big Brother Naija All Stars, has been praised for his rise from humble beginnings by popular singer David Adeleke, called Davido.
A model named Baye, 22, who was born in Kogi, won the N120 million grand prize of the Big Brother Naija All-Stars edition on Sunday night by defeating five other finalists, as reported by kuryaloaded.
Baye defeated Mercy Eke, who received 23.48 percent of the vote, by receiving 30.8% of the total votes.
Many were shocked by her victory because, during her “Level Up” 2022 season, she had been evicted after three weeks and was the underdog in the All-Stars season.
Using his X moniker, Davido praised the self-described “Gen Z Baddie” and said, “Ilebaye… I enjoy a good success story.
Ilebaye replied in the comments section by saying, “Thank you OBO.”
At the start of the competition, Davido initially endorsed Kiddwaya and Neo Energy to win the top prize.
But none of them advanced to the championship round.
