Heavyweight legend Mike Tyson’s bout against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul “breaks his heart,” according to British sports promoter Eddie Hearn.
Paul, who is thirty years younger than Tyson, will battle on Thursday. Tyson is 57 years old.
Arlington, Texas’s AT&T Stadium will host the fight on July 20.
Keep in mind that Tyson retired from boxing in 2005.
On the other hand, Hearn is displeased to see Tyson return to the ring. He is now in Jeddah for Friday night’s bout between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou.
In response to iFL TV’s question over the announcement, Hearn stated: “I suppose if you criticise it you’re a hater, aren’t you?” Because of my passion for boxing, I may not be the ideal person to ask.
You can’t ignore the significance of the event, but it makes me very sad.
“Mike Tyson, is he sixty years old yet?” 58? Is that the case? Among the all-time greats of combat.
It saddens me since I am one of the few percent of people who are completely obsessed with boxing.
“However, there will be a large audience because it is a major event taking place on a brand-new platform in a massive stadium.”
