El-Rufai visits CAS and praises NAF for maintaining calm in Kaduna

On Friday, Governor Nasir El-rufai praised Air Marshal Oladayo Amao, Chief of Air Staff of the Nigerian Air Force, for bringing about a measure of calm in Kaduna State.

In order to address insecurity in the state, Amao, according tokuryaloaded, redeployed highly trained officers and soldiers to Kaduna.

As the number and activities of bandits and terrorists are decreasing daily in the state’s 23 Local Government Area, Governor Nasir El-rufai, who was overjoyed, said during a courtesy visit to the CAS in Abuja:

El-Rufai applauded the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) for its valiant efforts in restoring some kind of calm in the State.

According to him, Governor El-Rufai revealed that in the last three months, there has been a significant improvement in the security situation in the state as several terrorists’ commanders have been neutralized by the NAF while the remnants have relocated from the state. He said this while expressing the gratitude of the people of Kaduna State to the CAS for improved security situation in the state.

“I came to congratulate the Chief of the Air Staff, Branch Chiefs, Air Officers Commanding, officers, and men of the Nigerian Air Force for the wonderful work done and currently being done in Kaduna State on behalf of the Government and people of Kaduna State.”

“The security situation in our state and the surrounding area has significantly improved. Keep up the good work, he pleaded.

In his reply, Air Marshal Amao, the CAS, thanked the governor for coming and the assistance and cooperation the NAF has been enjoying from the government and people of Kaduna State in addressing the security concerns in the entire North West area.

He continued by saying that the NAF would keep doing its hardest to keep the nation safe and secure in accordance with its constitutional obligations.
