English Premier League: Alexander-Arnold slammed by Haaland for talking too much during Liverpool match

The England star’s latest remark about trophies has prompted Manchester City attacker Erling Haaland to criticize Liverpool and defender Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Victories “mean more” to Liverpool than to Manchester City, according to fullback Alexander-Arnold.

The Reds are vying with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City for the Premier League and FA Cup this season, hoping to deny City a repeat of their 2022–23 trophy haul.

Although his team faces an uphill battle to unseat the reigning European and English champions, Anfield star Alexander-Arnold claims his teammates will relish the victory more than their opponents.

“Liverpool can talk as much as they want, or Trent Alexander-Arnold can talk as much as he wants…” Haaland said Sky UK in response to the comment. Even though I have no idea why he does it, it doesn’t bother me.

“Alright, if that’s what he wants to say.

“I won the treble in my first year here, and it was a wonderful feeling; I don’t think he understands what it’s like to experience that…”
