From Chelsea, Juve was warned they shouldn’t buy Lukaku

Ex-Juve player Massimo Mauro has warned the Serie A champions against making a summer move for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

After a successful loan season with Inter Milan, Lukaku was widely expected to make the Nerazzurri his permanent home this summer.

Upon learning that Lukaku was in negotiations with Juventus, Inter Milan reportedly abandoned their pursuit of signing him.

Mauro, however, is opposed to the idea of bringing Lukaku to Allianz since he claims the Belgian has made it clear he has no interest in playing for the Old Lady.

If I were Lukaku, who has openly stated that he will never wear the black and white shirt, I would not bring them in.

Also, in today’s society, players are allowed to say and do whatever they like. Mauro said in an interview for La Gazzetta dello Sport, “They kiss the badge and the next moment they move elsewhere.”
