Posted by Chelsea has officially announced the transfer of Everton defender Ishe Samuels-Smith, 17.
The Blues spent £4 million to acquire the services of the talented young fullback, an England Under-21 international and a product of Everton’s storied system.
The outstanding adolescent was signed by Chelsea over interest from Manchester City, and he has since confessed that he is shocked by the transfer to Stamford Bridge.
According to Samuels-Smith, “It was a shock to me because it all occurred rapidly, but I’m extremely delighted to be here.
“Joining a club of this magnitude will be a great learning experience for me.
“It will be a new challenge because there are top players here; therefore, I will need to adapt quickly and progress through the levels.”
