Brigadier General JTE Chukwu, a retired member of the Nigerian Army, has passed away.
On Thursday, the former director of Army Public Relations passed away in his Abuja home.
When Lieutenant General Tuku Buratai was serving as the Chief of Army Staff in February 2018, Chukwu was selected to serve as the military branch’s spokesperson.
He took the place of Brigadier General Sani Usman, who moved on to the Plateau location of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).
Chukwu was the Commandant of the Nigerian Army School of Public Relations (NASPRI) in Lagos State prior to his assignment as DAPR.
