INEC warns about fraudulent recruitment website
Nigerians have once more been warned by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to avoid a fraudulent recruiting webpage for the 2023 election.
Rotimi Oyekanmi, the INEC Chairman’s chief press secretary, released a statement on Tuesday.
According to Oyekanmi, the commission is no longer hiring ad hoc employees for the general elections.
The representative attested to the closure of the INEC website that had been launched for that purpose.
“On December 14, 2022, the INEC ad hoc staff recruitment platform was formally shut down.
“The website at http://www.yournewclaims.com/Inec-Recruitment/ is fraudulent,”
The portal’s creators, according to INEC, want to swindle the public’s trusting members.
