Andre Onana, formerly of Inter Milan, has officially joined Manchester United in a transaction of £47.1 million.
The Red Devils have signed Onana to a five-year contract with an additional year of team control.
After David De Gea’s departure from Old Trafford, the Cameroonian will take over in goal.
After being introduced to the media, Onana remarked, “To join Manchester United is an incredible honor and I have worked hard all my life to get to this moment, overcoming many obstacles along the way.”
The 27-year-old is set to make his United debut on Saturday night in a preseason friendly against arsenal.
