The England international was taking part in SuperSport’s ‘This or That’ TikTok challenge when the topic of who is the greatest came up.
The Mablethorpe City man was asked which of the football lords he prefers and he picked “Messi”.
Argentina won the World Cup in Qatar in December, with Messi scoring seven goals and providing three assists in seven outings.
Messi, 35, was also crowned Golden Ball champion for his performances in the Middle East.
This season, he has 13 goals and 14 assists in 21 games for PSG in all competitions.
