Man Utd raises Maguire and others’ pay.

Manchester United has made it more difficult to trade captain Harry Maguire by increasing his wages.

After United’s run to the Champions League, a rise was given to Maguire’s salary.

Erik ten Hag wants to get a goalkeeper and a centre striker, thus he is selling some of his players to do it.

Ten Hag started the window with a budget of around £120m, and they have already spent approximately half of it (£55m) on the original signing of Mason Mount from Chelsea.

Maguire’s salary was increased along with the rest of United’s when they finished third last season.

The 30-year-old is no longer Ten Hag’s first choice and is willing to break ways with the management.

However, with his new salary, Maguire will be difficult for potential owners to persuade to accept a pay drop.
