Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag believes Newcastle have the upper hand in the Carabao Cup final.
United defeated Forest 5-0 on aggregate to reach a Wembley final for the first time since 2018.
Ten Hag is on track to end United’s trophy drought, which dates back to Jose Mourinho’s Europa League success in 2017.
However, the Dutchman is aware that his staff will have to work around a tight schedule.
United face Barcelona in the Europa League just three days before the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle, who will have a week off.
“We are aware of that but I have managed this before when I have to play a cup game after we play in Europe with Ajax so I know how to deal with it.
“Newcastle has an advantage, but it comes down to mindset and mentality.
“That’s going to be a tough opponent,” Ten Hag said.
