Nigeria will soon undergo a permanent transition, therefore hold onto hope. Xmas letter from the Labour Party’s youth leader

Isah Abubakar, the head of youth affairs for the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, has urged Nigerians to remain hopeful despite the country’s security challenges.

He asserted that “good things are on the way for Nigeria because we have all experienced great hardship and democracy has given us another chance to elect leaders of our choice, so we should exercise our constitutional rights and elect credible leaders that will advance this country in the elections held next year.”

In a statement, Abubakar bemoaned the everyday struggles many Nigerians face and urged them to keep praying for a solution.

“We should live by the lessons of this season in order to propel this country ahead in all aspects of life,” he continued, “because the celebration of Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ, is another hope that all is not lost in the survival of Nigeria as a great country.”

“It is terrible that Nigerians are suffering in lines to acquire the commodity despite the country’s abundance of crude oil and other natural resources,” he said. Since the beginning of time, this has been the situation.

Both the PDP-led government in the nation and the current APC administration failed in this area. Despite this, both sides are presenting their elders who contributed to the failure to give Nigerians a choice.

He urged Nigerians to adopt the virtues of Jesus Christ, who did not let the lowly place of his birth prevent him from actualizing and maximizing his potential while on earth, as Christians commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. He asked Christians to adopt the same mindset and use it to advance their nation.

He noted that Nigerians are currently living in a situation known as the manger, where everything that should provide them with some measure of comfort is out of reach, but he was confident that with Peter Obi in the presidency, the nation’s potential and greatness would be unlocked, ushering Nigerians into prosperity.
