Nigerian Ports Authority has a guest house and office in London, according to Peter Obi

Peter Obi disclosed on Sunday that the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has a location and a guest home in London.

At the Channels TV town hall for the general elections in 2023, the Labour Party (LP) candidate for president made an appearance.

Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, Obi’s running mate, was present for the live session, which included some Nigerians.

The previous governor of Anambra lamented government waste and vowed to stop unnecessary spending.

“Ports Authority is what I’ve followed. Are you aware that the only port authority in the world with a location outside of its home nation is the Nigerian Ports Authority?

They even have a guest house in London. They have an office there. Are you serious? In Nigeria, for managing a port? Obi promised, “We’re going to get rid of them.

The NPA manages the port complexes at Lagos, Tin Can Island, Calabar in Cross River, Delta Ports at Warri, Rivers Port Complex, and Onne.

Mohammed Bello Koko presently serves as the agency’s director. It was established in 1954 and is managed by the Federal Ministry of Transportation. Its main office is in Lagos.
