Political activist Reno Omokri claims that the majority of Nigerians do not support bringing justice for the murdered singer Ilerioluwa Aloba nicknamed Mohbad.
Omokri claims that Nigerians seek “mob justice” against certain individuals they dislike.
On September 12th, Mohbad unexpectedly passed away.
Due to the controversy surrounding his death, his body was exhumed in the Ikorodu neighborhood of Lagos State.
Sam Larry, a well-known event promoter, was arrested by the police while they looked into the circumstances of his death.
Omokri, however, implied that some Nigerians would doubt a police report exonerating some performers implicated in Mohbad’s killing.
Omokri stated, “Many Nigerians actually do not want #JusticeForMohBad,” in an X post. They aim to exact vigilante justice on certain individuals whom they dislike.
Justice for MohBad, in their minds, means that someone specific must be responsible. My heart goes out to the @PoliceNG.
Some would claim they were bribed or somehow compromised if their report exonerates a certain person. They’re against doing any kind of probe. The inquisition is what they seek.
