According to Corriere dello Sport, a Saudi Arabian team has made former Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon a very generous contract offer.
Buffon joins the ranks of high-profile athletes who have been offered lucrative contracts from Saudi Arabia, this time totaling roughly €30 million net per season.
After leaving for the summer of 2021, Buffon returned to Parma, where he continues to play in Serie B.
The 45-year-old played in 19 games for the club last year.
The Italian icon, who won the World Cup with Italy in 2006, has a one-year contract with Parma and is considering staying with the club.
The alternatives to Buffon accepting the offer from Saudi Arabia are retirement and obscurity.
