Yira Sor, a former Flying Eagles winger, has signed a permanent transfer with KRC Genk of the Belgian Pro League.

Slavia Prague, the reigning Czech champions, sent Sor to the Smurfs.

The 22-year-old signed a deal with Wouter Wracken’s group that would last until 2027.

According to rumors, Genk paid €6.5 million to acquire the player.

Sor has now surpassed fellow countryman Paul Onuachu, who joined Genk from FC Midtjylland for €6 million in 2019.

Before joining up with his colleagues after the new year, the quick winger will go through a personal training regimen.

After beginning for Slavia Prague in the UEFA Conference League last year and scoring seven goals in seven matches, Sor attracted attention.

In 41 appearances for the Red and Whites last season in all competitions, he scored 11 goals and provided nine assists.
