Posted by Rafael Leao, a forward for AC Milan, has been cautioned by AC Milan icon Filippo Inzaghi not to sign with Real Madrid or Manchester City during the active January transfer window.
Leao should stay with the Serie A champions and take on the role of the team’s flag carrier, according to Inzaghi, who called it “something special.”
Leao, 23, has been frequently mentioned in recent days as a potential transfer away from AC Milan to Real Madrid or Manchester City.
With his performances for AC Milan, the Portugal international has made a name for himself as one of the most exciting forwards in European sport.
But Inzaghi has already informed Leao that if he decides to leave Milan for Real or City, he will become one of many.
If I were him, I would stay, Inzaghi remarked in a statement to Corriere della Sera. Milan has always been the best in my opinion. to play at San Siro and wear that shirt.
Leao is strong, but he has the potential to be even more so. I’m hoping I can convince him. He has the opportunity to play a leading role in this endeavor. He runs the risk of becoming a statistic at Real [Madrid] or Manchester City. If I could provide him any advice, I would advise him to take on a special role as a flagbearer for Milan.
