Valencia: Ronaldo departed Manchester United in a horrible way

Antonio Valencia, a former defender for Manchester United, expressed his displeasure at Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure from the Premier League team.

Before the 2022 World Cup, Ronaldo’s contract was mutually cancelled by the Red Devils and him.

Following a contentious interview with Piers Morgan, the 37-year-relationship old’s with the club irreversibly fell apart.

“It was unfortunate how Cristiano Ronaldo departed Manchester United.

“A player like him ought to leave a club by exiting the field to cheers in front of a packed house.

“It was sad that he recently did an interview. He’ll have his justifications for what he said, but I was horrified by the way he departed the club.

“I sincerely hope he has a successful first week at his new club. I only have the finest wishes for Ronaldo,” Valencia told The Athletic.

Ronaldo has been strongly linked to a move to Saudi Arabia to sign a free agent contract with Al-Nassr.
