In response to rumors that the Paris Saint-Germain star may be retiring, Ronaldo has spoken on Neymar’s position in the Brazil national team.

The 30-year-old PSG forward made a suggestion that he would call it quits on his international career after Brazil was knocked out of the World Cup in the quarterfinals.

However, Ronaldo de Lima, a legend of Brazil, does not think that the 30-year-decision old’s to leave the national team would be a sensible one.

By the time the next World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico begins, Neymar will be 34 years old.

He’s upset right now, and that’s fine, but he’s still young. He can still play in the upcoming World Cup at age 31, Ronaldo said Globo.

Because of how closely he identifies with his national team, he is currently highly well-liked in Brazil.

Ronaldo, a World Cup champion with the Selecao, said of the PSG star, “Against Croatia, he was a top-quality player and he remains an essential part of the national team,” adding that the player will return stronger.
