Zinedine Zidane, the former manager of Real Madrid, has declined a job as the men’s national team coach of the United States.
Zidane is not interested in leading any other national team besides France, claims L’Equipe.
The article further stated that the Frenchman declined employment offers from Portugal and Brazil.
Since head coach Gregg Berhalter’s contract terminated at the end of the previous year, the USA position is currently open.
Since his departure from Real Madrid in 2021, Zidane has not been in command of any teams.
