Arsenal’s biggest issue, according to Neville, is that they can win the title this year

Former Manchester United player Gary Neville has revealed that Arsenal is the only team with a realistic chance of winning the Premier League this year.

According to him, the Arsenal must add at least one striker to their attacking options in the January transfer window.

This comes after Tuesday night’s 0-0 Premier League draw between the Arsenal and Newcastle United.

With only one notable stop from goalie Nick Pope, Newcastle managed to hold Arsenal for the whole game.

Out of his five choices, Arteta only substituted Ben White for Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Neville highlighted that the Spanish manager does not even trust £34 million summer signing Fabio Vieira.

Neville claimed on Sky Sports that there isn’t really a way to significantly improve Arsenal’s strikers.

Neville suggested that Arteta may have felt that adding Vieira to his squad may weaken them, therefore he chose to sit the Portuguese, his sole choice for a striker.

The Red Devils icon continued, “So he doesn’t have faith in his bench to improve the team that was out there.”

He’ll have to check out the transfer market.

When will Arsenal be in a position where they can win the league here? You are ignorant.

“That would increase Arsenal’s chances of winning and turning a loss into a win.”
