The Flying Eagles of Nigeria, seven-time champions, are not one of the three seeds for tonight’s draw for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, will host the draw ceremony this evening.
Despite having a strong history in the competition, the team hasn’t advanced to the last two editions.
The three seeded nations are the three hosts: Egypt, Uganda, and Gambia.
Along with Benin Republic, Senegal, Zambia, South Sudan, and Congo, Ladan Bosso’s team is included in Pot 3.
The competition will be held in Cairo, Alexandria, and Ismaila, all in Egypt.
From February 18 to March 12, 2023, the competition will take place.
