Fani-Kayode: Tinubu did in days what the Buhari government couldn’t do in years

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation, has said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has accomplished in 100 days what the Muhammadu Buhari administration could not even attempt for many years.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) had a diplomatic spat with Nigeria while Buhari was in office, leading to a visa ban on Nigerians and the suspension of flights to the west African country.

Since October 2022, nothing has changed.

Although the kuryaloaded had previously reported that Tinubu and the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, had met in Abu Dhabi to finalize a historic agreement, the ban on Nigerian travelers’ ability to enter the country was lifted immediately after the announcement of the agreement.

Former PDP leader and current member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Femi Fani-Kayode said that the current administration has accomplished in a matter of days what the previous government failed to accomplish in a period of years.

Our President, in only a few short days, has restored Nigeria to her rightful place at the forefront of international affairs.

“After a fantastic performance in India at the G20 summit, which has attracted billions of dollars in investment to our country and where he rightly told world leaders that they cannot do without Nigeria, he went to the UAE and made sure that the visa ban on Nigerians was lifted, as well as resolved the issue of trapped Emirati funds at Central Bank and the issue of flight routes and air travel between our two countries. This list of successes was amassed in just a few short days.

These are goals that the outgoing administration failed to accomplish despite engaging in lengthy and often contentious talks.

Under his leadership, Nigeria is definitely on the rise again, and for that I am extremely proud of our President.

Great Nigeria, the Giant of Africa, is once again a vibrant and dynamic nation thanks to his leadership. To God be the glory.
