Ogenyi Onazi, a former Super Eagles player, has joined East Riffa of the Bahrain Premier League.
Onazi’s most recent club was Casertana FC in Italian Serie D.
Last month, the 30-year-old participated in training with Remo Stars of the Nigeria Professional Football League.
Injury problems have recently plagued the aggressive midfielder.
The much traveled player has played for teams in Denmark, Italy, Turkey, Lithuania, and Saudi Arabia.
He was a member of the Super Eagles team that triumphed in South Africa during the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
