Otti chooses J Martins and 29 others to serve as advisors in Abia

Abia State Governor Alex Otti has appointed music superstar Martins Okechukwu Justice, also known as J. Martins, along with 29 others.

The Governor has appointed J. Martins, a native of Ohafia LGA, to serve as his Special Assistant on Entertainment and Tourism.

Mr. Kasie Uko, Otti’s Chief Press Secretary, issued a press release on Wednesday morning announcing the appointments.

In addition, Mr. John Sam Obuh, formerly the coach of Nigeria’s Under-17 national team, has been named the club’s new Chairman.

Mr. Ugochukwu Okoroafor, Special Adviser, Monitoring and Evaluation; Mr. Iheanacho Obioma, Special Adviser, Political Matters; Professor Ijeoma Iheukwumere, Senior Special Assistant on Environment; Mr. Odinakachib Eric Eme, Senior Special Assistant on Multilateral and Donor Agencies; AND Nwaka Inem, Special Adviser, Trade, Commerce, and Industry.

Magdalene Ugoanusi, Senior Special Assistant, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs; George Chidozie, Special Assistant, Special Duties; Okorougo Aji, Special Assistant, Lands and Housing; Obioma Mgbe, Special Assistant, Transport; Chukwunenye Alajemba, Special Assistant, Homeland Security; and Ven. Joshua Onyeike, General Manager, Abia State Oil Producing Communities Commission and Development, ASOPADEC.

Mr. Ogbonna Okereke, General Manager of Abia State Environmental Protection Agency; Mr. Eric Egwuibe, Senior Special Assistant on Budget Planning; Mr. Anthony Nwaubani, Senior Special Assistant on Finance; Mr. Donald Chinagozi, Special Assistant on Digital Economy; Mr. Chinedu Ekeke, Deputy Chief of Staff/Senior Special Assistant to the Governor; and Mr. Chinedu Nwaubani, Special Assistant to the Governor.

Mrs. Mathilda Anyamele, Special Assistant, Due Process; Mrs. Chinwe Kanu Ibe, Special Assistant on Women Mobilization; Mrs. Chinwe Onyeukwu, Special Assistant on Women Affairs; Kanu Nwankwo, Chairman Enyimba Football Club of Aba; Boniface Alozie Uche, Special Assistant on Women Affairs; and Col. Ezichi Kalu, General Manager, Abia State Traffic and Safety Management Agency.

Uko claims that the appointments are effective immediately.
