After Arsenal’s most recent tie, Neville blasts Arteta for his “scandalous” allegation

Legendary Manchester United player Gary Neville has criticized Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, for consistently believing that referees are biased against his team.

Neville disagreed with the Spaniard’s assertion that the referees threw away his team’s Premier League victory over Newcastle on Tuesday.

Arteta believed that the Gunners were the victims of two “scandalous” mistakes by the video assistance referee.

The Gunners and Magpies battled to a scoreless draw, losing ground in the title race.

The Arsenal manager believed his team should have received two penalties as they searched for a victory.

As time ran out, Newcastle defender Dan Burn appeared to pull back Gabriel from a free kick as Arsenal appealed for a penalty for a handball.

After the game, Arteta claimed to reporters that Arsenal should have received two penalties.

Arteta was wrong, in contrast to Neville, who believed that it would have been shameful if the late handball had resulted in a penalty.

Neville said on Sky Sports, “I thought it would be scandalous if it was given.

“Mikel Arteta would be furious if he had given up a penalty like this and lost a football game.

That is not a punishment. That never, ever constitutes a fine. Arteta would be furious if that was used against his side.

The handball never results in a penalty. They could feel resentful because of the first. MATTER:
