Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), has stated that he will spend Christmas at the camps for internally displaced people in Idah and Ibaji, Kogi State.
This was said in a statement provided to journalists in Lokoja on Friday by the state publicity secretary, Idakwo Emmanuel, and signed by Ahmed Mohammed, the party’s chairman for Kogi State.
The LP chairman revealed that Obi will attend the ceremony with other Kogi State Catholics.
Part of the statement said, “His Excellency, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, will be celebrating Christmas day, December 25, with less fortunate residing in the IDP camps near Idah and Ibaji districts.”
He added urged all patriots to maintain their motivation as the party cooperates to create a new Nigeria that would make everyone proud.
