The House of Representatives has approved President Bola Tinubu’s picks for the heads of the military services.
On Wednesday, the House Committee of the Whole approved the nominee after reviewing a report from Monday’s screening committee chaired by Babajimi Benson.
Major General Christopher Musa, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, and Air Vice Marshal Hassan Abubakar were nominated by President Tinubu to serve as Chief of Defense Staff, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Naval Staff, and Chief of Air Staff, respectively.
The National Assembly was forwarded their nominations on June 19 to confirm.
The House unanimously agreed to confirm the nominations.
