Tinubu adds, “I’m taking baby steps of pain to fix Nigeria

President Bola Tinubu has stated that he is taking ‘baby steps of pains’ to solve Nigeria’s problems, encouraging Nigerians not to be in a hurry to address the nation’s concerns.

The president also stated that it is on to Nigerians to guarantee that the country arrives at its ultimate destiny.

Tinubu made the remarks during a visit to the palace of the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo.

Tinubu, who was in Ogun State on a private visit to two traditional rulers, met with the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, at his palace in Ijebu before proceeding to Abeokuta to meet with the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Michael Gbadebo.

Tinubu arrived at the Dipo Dina International Stadium in the Ijebu-Ode part of the state at exactly 10.18 a.m. in a presidential chopper 5N FG2, Nigeria Airforce.

Shortly after addressing the people at the palace, the president met with Awujale behind closed doors for almost an hour.

His entourage included the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the presidential spokeswoman, Dele Alake.

Tinubu, who was received by the state governor, Dapo Abiodun; former governors of the state, Senator Ibikunle Amosun and Segun Osoba; and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, among others, said he now knows what it takes to be President of Nigeria.

He pleaded on Nigerians to accompany him on his “baby steps of pain.”

“At least, we delivered,” he continued, “despite the hardship of no money, no fuel, and I credit you, thank you.” I’m not sure if it will be like this, but I just wanted to slip in and out, to greet Kabiyesi now that I know what it’s like to be a president.

“By reaching the prayer point of ‘Emi lokan’ and then arriving here, I have fulfilled a pledge that I will return with victory and the crown.”Now, all I ask for are prayers for the country, and we are resolved to help our country, to steer the ship of the nation, to develop a good team, to be positive for this country, and to deliver on all of my promises.”The hope has been refueled. That hope will not die. That hope can positively refresh your life.””I have seen that in France during this discussion and we are the children of the same parents living in the same house, we are only sleeping in different rooms, just recognize that,” I said, repeating the campaign promise. Let us be unified, without distraction, and we will arrive at our destination, a positive destination for this country, and it is all in our hands to make history, I swear.”We will see positive changes as we progress; just go through these baby steps of pain, baby steps of pain, I’m taking baby steps as President, not matching in a hurry, being ready to listen, maintaining an open door policy, letting the freedom flow, letting the confidence return to Nigeria.” “I’ve been a refugee, I know what it’s like to be a refugee in another country, and I still have my green passport.”We need your prayers, your support, and your interventions to change our people’s minds so that the economic prosperity that this country is experiencing can benefit all of us.
