A member of the singing group BNXN, whose stage name is Daniel Benson, has insulted Davido, one of their colleagues.
BNXN, aka Buju, responded to a user who identified as “mid” on the internet and claimed that the man had no business opining on music matters just because he is a fan of Davido.
The user known as @lifeofolaa commented on a post on BNXN, writing, “He’s mid abeg.”
“You be retard,” BNXN stated, clearly irritated by his capitulation. You shouldn’t expect them to discuss music matters when you know who they are. Holy cow! (italics added).
The user has the cover image from Davido’s ‘Timeless’ album as his profile picture, and he is a well-known fan of the artist on X.
Even after BNXN deleted the tweet, people on the internet still thought he was wrong to mock Davido while he was chatting with his fan.
“This disrespect towards Davido is insane, sha. Just picture Buju hurling subs at a whole Davido.” tweeted @heiskaptain.
“Buju is incorrect about that tweet!!!” Big Ayo said in his opinion. Eliminating it also has no improvement.
“Going around and openly disrespecting Davido is ridiculous and makes no sense at all. Where did you get that idea?” For some reason, he believes that Davido is actually Ruger.
“Unless Buju publicly apologizes to Davido and 30BG, we will cancel him,” thatdammygirlie stated.
