Pochettino, manager of Chelsea, discloses the player he would like to assist

Mauricio Pochettino, manager of Chelsea, has expressed a desire to “help” Everton’s Dele Alli, a midfielder.

Until the coach’s departure in November of 2019, Pochettino and Alli worked together at Tottenham Hotspur.

The former England midfielder has fallen from favor after failing to make an impact at Everton and then having a poor loan stint with Turkish side Besiktas.

Alli has returned to Goodison Park, and Pochettino plans to contact the 27-year-old to see if he can be of assistance.

“He’s a terrific man, and I’d like to chat to him for a while and hear what he has to say, so I’m hoping I’ll have a chance to call and see.

I’m interested in assisting him and learning more about his situation. He’s young at heart. Indeed, he possesses the necessary frame of mind.

It’s been a while since we last spoke, but Pochettino still plans to get in touch to see out how things are going.
