On Friday, the administration of Kaduna State University (KASU) stated that the recent appointment of senior officers was conducted on the basis of merit and in conformity with the instructions.
Hajia Samira Balarab, the school’s Registrar, announced this in a special bulletin.
The Governing Council of the university is authorised by the university’s rules and regulations on recruitment of key officers to make appointments of the Registrar, Bursar, and Librarian based on merit, after candidates have been subjected to extensive screening and interviews.
She added that the same academic knowledge and track record were also taken into account when appointing workers to different roles within the university.
She emphasised the administration’s desire to make the university a model of excellence around the globe.
She praised the university, saying, “The institution has been at the forefront of innovation and excellence, constantly striving to provide state-of-the-art facilities and programmes that enhance the academic and research experiences of our students and faculty.”
